MASSADA EIN GEDI & DEAD SEA
Leaving Jerusalem going east descent the steep slopes of the Judean desert toward the Dead Sea,turn south towards Ein Gedi (referred to in the Gemorra as City of spices) not before viewing the Qumran caves-at the time of Asians, stop at Ein Gedi nature reserve and walk the length of the David river –water falls.Then to Massada the enchanting fortress of King Hordos where we go on up,and ride down in the cable car. From there to the salt-hills of Sdom, passing Lot"s wife (a pillar of salt) ending with bathing in the Dead Sea the lowest place in the world-with separate beaches for men and women.
Bring along bathing suits,sun hats,water and walking shoes.
